Preparing our application for CQC registration

How care starts

Time to listen. Careful planning. A confident start.

We do not rush into care. Our assessment process helps everyone understand what support is needed and whether we are the right provider.

Start a conversation
1

A friendly first conversation

Tell us about the person who may need support, what is changing and what matters most. We will explain our scope and whether an assessment is the right next step.

2

A detailed assessment

We explore health and wellbeing, daily routines, mobility, communication, medication, home risks, capacity and consent, personal goals and family involvement.

3

A personalised care plan

We document the agreed support, preferred routines, risks, outcomes and how care should be delivered. Care plans are reviewed through our leadership and governance process at regular intervals.

4

Careful matching and introduction

We consider skills, availability, communication and personal preferences when arranging the carers who will provide support.

5

Care begins and is reviewed

Digital care records help us monitor visits. We review care when needs change and keep appropriate contact with families and professionals.

Consent and choice

Your voice remains central

We seek valid consent, provide information in an understandable way and follow Mental Capacity Act principles where a person may have difficulty making a particular decision. Any best-interest process should remain person-centred and involve the appropriate people.

Let’s talk about the care you need.

A warm, straightforward conversation is the first step.
